Origin
The crystal bowl is made of quartz sand with a purity of up to 99.99% (chemical formula: SiO₂). After the quartzite ore is crushed, high-quality quartz sand is selected. Quartzite is an ore composed of silicon dioxide. Colorless and transparent quartz (crystal) was called "krystallos" in Greece, which means "white ice". The Greeks firmly believed that crystal was durable and hard ice. In ancient China, people believed that holding crystal in the mouth could quench thirst.
